Eligibility for Membership

Must be a Sri Lankan resident of good character, aged 18 or above.
Actively engaged in or planning a lawful business within the jurisdiction.
Non-residents must provide proof of local business activity and two local guarantors.
Purchase a minimum of 50 shares to obtain regular membership.
Maintain a satisfactorily operated account with the society prior to applying.

How to Apply

Collect and complete the official membership application form.
Submit the form to your nearest SLGMO branch along with:
- ✔️ Valid identification (NIC or passport)
- ✔️ Proof of residence
- ✔️ Business documents (if applicable)
- ✔️ Grama Niladhari certified Proof of Residency
- ✔️ Photocopy of National Identity Card
- ✔️ One recent passport-sized photograph
Pay the one-time membership fee (non-refundable upon withdrawal).
